the story so far... (isang kwento ng UPSCA app)

the sem's almost over and i feel really screwed cuz my sig sheet is still completely bare... gah! *parinig* sana hindi ito maging grounds para hindi ako tanggapin *parinig* hehe.

*dream sequence starts*

imaginary interviewer: so erik... kamusta buhay app?
erik: hmmm... ayos naman. nag-eenjoy naman ako.
imaginary interviewer: mahirap ba?
erik: matakaw sa oras at tsaka nakaka-guilty pag hindi ko na-fu-fulfill ung mga request ng mga mem... pero ayos lang.
imaginary interviewr: ano pinaka-gusto mo sa UPSCA?
erik: ung PS2 ni CHATZ!!! joke.
imaginary interviewer: ooooooookay. sige... PS2 ni chatz... eh ano pa?
erik: ung gitara... ung electric fan. hehehe.
imaginary interviewer: haaaaaaay nako...

but seriously... i'm really "falling for UPSCA" (shucks pag 'di pako natanggap sa mga sipsip ko ewan ko na). the people are absolutely super uber nice. they really accept me for who i am... and in an org i guess that's what really counts. you're looking for acceptance, a tambayan, and people to hang with. i found that in UPSCA and i'm really glad that it's the first org i'm applying for.

so how did i decide to join UPSCA? well, i first heard about it from Ate Chot... i think even before i passed the UPCAT she was already raving about it and later on was convincing my sister and i to join. my sister by the way is Mich Angeles... also an app for '04-'05 (batch-ta kasama kita). what motivated me even more to join was that i already knew a couple of mems including Ate Bernie (ang-aking-editor-for-this-article-na-hindi-ko-matanggihan-kasi-kabarkada-siya-ng-ate-ko-at-dahil-masyado-akong-mabait... whew... naubos hininga ko), Ate Anna (si 'insan), si Jemai (dahil kay Ate Anna), si Ken (dahil kay Ate Anna ulit), at un nga si Ate Chot (ka-berks ni ate bernie and ate mich).

i have to admit that at first i was really apprehensive to join because of my notion about religious orgs... i always thought that members of orgs like this were really weird. weird in a way that they wouldn't able to finish a sentence without mentioning God or perhaps weird in a way that they raised their hands and closed their eyes everytime a joyous religious song was played. not that i have anything against this, it's just that i wouldn't be too comfortable doing that... peace po! (but come to think of it, medyo weirdo nga ang mga UPSCAn... but in a good way. peace ulit!) anyway, i totally loss all bias as soon as i got to know more and more people within the org and before i knew it... i was having a blast.

ok, one last topic... the activities.
app's welcome - a first glimpse at the pagka-kalog of this org... really fun.
the cell sessions - asteeg. sino ba ang mga nag-isip ng mga ito? nakakaaliw. a useful outlet in expressing and relating one's self to other cellmates with matching pampa-kwela activity.
the FA's - i can't comment much cuz i've only attended 2... whoops... did i say 2? i meant 5, yeah i attended 5. ^__^ so far, all "5" FA's i attended have been fun. especially the Talent's night where my cell, bai and cell, won best talent. Talipapa was also fun and insightful.
1st gel-ing - booooooo! they crushed our eggs and tore our poster. booooooooooooo! hehehe... a taste of the very manipulative UPSCAN mems and their flawless acting jobs. wahahahahaha. great fun!

imaginary interviewer: so itutuloy mo pa ba application mo maski delinquente/pasaway ka?
erik: oo naman! sana matanggap talaga ako. *hint hint*
imaginary interviewer: eto ang mahiwagang salamin sa harap mo. ano ang sasabihin mo sa sarili mo?
erik: OHMEGADZ!!! ikaw pla si boy abunda! pa-autograps naman oh.
